I hate cold and heat. I am happy with a high of 72f with dew under 60f. I could live with that year round. 95F with dews over 78f are insane and temps below 45f get old fast also.

Neither one is going to be a comfortable walk to work.

However, it is much easier for me to add layers for warmth vs trying to cool down from horrid heat so I will opt for the -5F with wind.

I'd take the cold option, and wear mittens, boots, a heavy overcoat, hat, scarf, and sweatpants on top of my suit.

95F and humid isn't too bad in a T-shirt and shorts, but it would be awful walking in those conditions in a suit. If I dressed warmly enough a -5F temperature with wind would be uncomfortable, but I wouldn't be at serious risk of illness.

Why couldn't I take off my jacket and roll up my shirtsleeves in the hot scenario? I feel like that would make the question more balanced.
