Four distinct season by temperature variation from an average freezing winter to sultry summer condition? I'd say Iowa, Nebraska, central Illinois(and Chicago)/Indiana/Ohio. My definition of the best climate differs from yours though.
I imagine that could be a tricky question for some states e.g. Washington and Oregon for instance. The western and eastern parts of the states are very different in terms of climate.
I'd much rather deal with cold/snow/ice than heat and humidity lol. Grew up in New England so quite familiar with it
Speaking of New England.....how about Vermont having the best climate.
Some bigger states, especially with mountains, have many climates,
like California, it has a climate for everyone.
