As the borderline of subtropical and oceanic climates, which city's climate is closer to Sydney?

For me, winters are relatively mild and sunny, so it's more like Brisbane except a few degrees cooler than this subtropical climate, unlike Melbourne which is usually cool and wet. Summers are humid but not as hot as Brisbane, and cool change after those occasional heatwaves are reminiscent of oceanic climate which is similar to Melbourne.

120 years ago (basing it on the 1881-1910 normals), I would've said Melbourne. Winters were somewhat wetter than summers and were rather cool.

Today, Sydney's definitely more like Brisbane. And it's becoming more like Brisbane as the years go by with more winter drought and summer rain.
