A very remarkable month, it broke several old records

High Max: 29.4ºC
Mean Max: 24.9ºC (+1.7ºC)
Low Max: 20.9ºC (warmest on record)

Monthly Mean: 20.4ºC (+2.3ºC) 2nd warmest on record, only behind the brutal April 2018

High Min: 22ºC

Temps 0.5F below average and precip 7.74" above normal. 5th wettest April on record. Frequent storm systems brought heavy rainfall (the highest total from a single event was about 4"). Didn't see anything too severe locally but there were some tornado and hail reports in the area.

April was very wet for the Gulf coast.

Due to the dry winter, I am hoping for a wetter and cooler summer this year. Hopefully California can get some significant moisture as well. Don't want any smoke...
