N.H for me. I'm not a fan of colder winters, but N.H seems to have a shorter cold period, even if it is colder. It would be sunnier as well.

Don't get it. You'll choose any climate that has milder temps in winter? Stornoway wins over a fictional climate that have 11 perfect months for you, but one subzero month?

NH Manchester is 7 months warmer and 4 months colder. Still 4 months is more important than 7 months.

Incorrect, Manchester England has 7 months warmer than Manchester NH. Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, Oct, Nov & Dec are all colder in the New Hampshire Manchester. You have to look at the mean & minimum temperatures because some people will factor those into their decision (and quite rightly).

As for myself, hard to decide. I really hate cold and Manchester NH is far too cold in winter. So undecided really. Manchester England's climate isn't all that bad at all. It's never too cold or hot and certainly warmer than Buxton. But I remain undecided.

So, Manchester England would get a D because it is at least comfortable year round, but no real summer and a bit cloudy. Manchester NH gets terribly cold winters but not quite life threatening hence that would limit it to an E, however the higher sun and warm summer raises it to a D. So I'll toss a coin on it.

Well my coin toss landed heads so I'll vote Manchester England.

I hate snow and subfreezing temperatures above all other climatic factors... even if a place has a perfect summer, spring and fall but a brutal winter, I'll still give it a failing grade. I'd rather live in a place where all seasons are mediocre than live in a place where I hate at least one season.

Manchester, New Hampshire. I like it better cause it gets more snow in winter.
