Another half inch of snow fell overnight. Adding up quickly. Its quite cold out now, and we don't have a high above 34F forecast until Monday so it will likely be sticking around for the weekend

And we begin...

Top 30 Snowiest NWS Climo Locations in the U.S as of Nov 19, 2022. Remember, these updates are only using the Climo Airport sites. It just makes it easier for me verse looking for coop or spotter amounts everywhere.

Buffalo 2nd snowiest only 1.3 inches from Top spot, they are almost 3 feet above normal to date

South Bend 4th snowiest
Erie 7th snowiest

Caribou not in Top 20...yet

Rochester is only 1 hour away from Buffalo and they only have 4.4" for the season

We have been in this house 28 years and already this winter we are at about the 3rd most snowfall, with a total of 12" that is still present in some spots a week after the last flakes fell. Our normal average for a year here in Sammamish WA at 600' elevation is 6", and most years it's in February.

Shouldn't Watertown/Fort Bragg and Oswego have a lot of snow for season to date too? Watertown got more snow than Buffalo during the November lake effect storm no?
