But not where i live since i am right on the gulf. Drive 2 miles east of me and it is 3 to 5 degrees colder just like that. The gulf is north of me so a north wind blows over hot water. If it is a hair northeast it would be colder. I am west of that dot that shows 37.

Snow on the ground all the way to the Gulf? That can't be correct.

It probably also includes ice. So freezing rain or sleet=snow on that map.

It's 11 PM, so how are things going? Let's see:

KDNL already below freezing at 30 F
KTBR is 33 F
KSAV is 39 F
KCHS is 45 F

Special spot Tybee is 40.5 F
Special spot KGNV is 47 F (big oof)

Looks like Gainesville has to drop quite a bit to hit freezing tonight. Sunrise is in 8 hours. Can they finally get a seasonal freeze?

Oh, and it looks like subtropical ripoff Galveston (KGLS) will hit 24 F again tonight after having a cold high of just 36 F this afternoon. Might have some fun looking at the folks over at PalmTalk freaking out, lol.

Results!

KDNL got down to 21 F. Still below freezing even at 10 AM.
KTBR got down to 23 F. Still below freezing at 10 AM.
KSAV got down to 27 F. Just rose above freezing at 10 AM.
KCHS only got down to 31 F. Not surpring since they were the farthest east of the bunch. They have a colder forecast tonight.

Now for the special spots:

Tybee Island got down to 28.2 F, busting their previous seasonal low of 35 F and finally got their first freeze.
KGNV managed to freeze FINALLY, but just barely, getting down to 32 F just before 8 AM this morning!
