It will be interesting to see how that works out if the forecast verifies. Could be a blood bath.
Cherry blossoms?? Usually those are well past when daffodils bloom here. Daffodils in early-mid April, cherry blossoms in early-mid May typically.

Lots of different varieties of cherry trees here: some early bloomers; some late. The blossom season is quite long and goes from mid-February right up to May.

Fully spring mode for Philly

We too will feel spring-like but a bit more volatile compared with Philly as is to be expected

Was disappointed in the Euro still showing cool conditions for the whole of the US! Temps are in the 70's soon on the eastern half the country.

Next 10 days which will lead us right into the start of meteorological spring global view.

Even for the first week of March the troughs will be out west

But interestingly the longer range Euro is showing a very wet March for much of the Central and Eastern US while the West Coast dries out. Good for farmers but don't know if this is a sign of an active severe weather season. Could be.

Always interesting to keep track of what trees are blossoming, as of yet, my (highly invasive) golden rain tree is refusing to budge from it's winter hibernation. That suggests to me we have a little bit more cooler weather by FL standards to come.

Or maybe the tree is wrong. But it never has been before.

The latest forecast shows a cooler and unsettled weather pattern to develop over the United States in March, while Europe is forecast to continue a similar weather pattern as in the past

Very possible that after the first 7-10 days of March wintery like conditions return to the eastern 2/3rds. Favorable phase for cold is phase 3

NAO also going negative

The Euro right now isn't seeing it. It basically has the same west=cool east=warm pattern going through March. Also wet for most

Why are you listening to and copypasta'ing Joe Bustardi's posts? He's been calling for imminent cold for 5 months straight - since November (which, ended up as one of warmest winters on record). continually kicking the can all the way into March now.

That guy has no credibility whatsoever, sorry.
