In comparation

In 1981-2010

Coldest Month Daily Mean: -6.2°C

Hottest Month Daily Mean: +18.6°C

https://www.mgm.gov.tr/iklim/iklim-s....aspx?m=KANGAL

In 1991-2020

Coldest Month Daily Mean: -5.6°C (0.6°C warmer)

Hottest Month Daily Mean: +19.2°C (0.6°C warmer)

Turkish State Meteorological Service only gave "coldest month daily mean" and "hottest month daily mean" information in 1981-2010. That is all.

And things like drought index without giving any average precipitation information in mm.

So I make 1981-2010 and 1991-2020 comparation with coldest month daily mean and hottest month daily mean.

C-

Winter temps are acceptable.
Summers should be warmer (especially when it comes to lows and means).
Shoulder seasons should be warmer too.
And it's too dry.

It’s got some genuine elevation though, over 1500 metres or over 5000 feet.
Not really my cup of tea, especially with yearly minimum means below freezing, but has a few good months.
Rainfall verging on semi-arid as well.

Elevation difference isn't very much

But Kangal has 4.4°C colder January low than Provincial Capital.

Also much bigger diurnal range in Summer

Provincial Capital
