Both countries have a mix of different climate variations. Overall which country are you more likely to experience a traditional if not extreme 4 season climate.

Japan is extraordinarily continental for an island nation at moderate latitudes.
But Turkey’s climate in Asia and with such a large area at high elevation, makes it more continental overall.

In 1991-2020

Muş (32.2°C)

Ağrı (31.8°C)

Malazgirt (31.7°C)

Horasan (31.6°C)

In 1981-2010

Ağrı: (32°C)

Horasan: (31.8°C)
