Doesn't get even a slight bit monotonous for you? I enjoy the the occasional cloudy or rainy day. I notice that after a week of clear skies I do get a little tired of it. I also don't like when everything dries up. I like a more green lush summer look.

Not really. I do wish we would perhaps get the odd thunderstorm, but everything starts to go brown here in April... I think it helps living right by the sea, so I do see water, if I lived inland I'm sure I would be sick of it after a few weeks...

Fully agreed, this is one of the reasons I dislike Mediterranean climates. It's too bad, because many of them have really pleasant temperatures to my liking. If they just had reversed precipitation patterns (or evenly distributed) I would absolutely love them.
