So after a May that will fail to record average sunshine, June starts as a contender for cloudiest on record. What is going on?

Highs ranged from 25-27C along the lakeshore, to 31-33C inland.




Cool down coming later this week, but basically average to slightly above for the forecast period. Average high/low on June 1st at MDW is 24.1C/13.8C and on June 14th it's 26.4C/16.6C. For my location it's 25.0C/13.2C on June 1st, and 27.5C/15.7C on June 14th....

Southern Spain is getting a 'real' summer. 40C is nice pool weather.

So are my in laws in Phoenix... Though 48C might be a little too hot for pool weather.
