Ya but it has to be arctic cold for the snow to last too. I'd love a 1700s winter!!

Kew Gardens had 26 snow days in Feb 1947, but i don't know if they were continuous.

How about recent years? I remember few years back London had quite a bit.. don't know if it stuck around or not.

First week of Wimbeldon looks unsettled but little chance of any heat as UK is NE of very strong high-pressure




I don't like the looks of the heat dome retrograding west at all.... That low pressure off of British Columbia better dip south, or that low off of Baja better go all monsoonal over the desert southwest to push that heat back into my region!

Fort Simpson and Nahanni Butte are still posting high temperatures today.



Whitehorse is also approaching 30 with so many hours before the sunset, while Southern Ontario is above normal too.
