Nothing to celebrate, but it looks ok for the latter part of August.

The temperature really drops quickly from August where you are. I noticed your September is cooler than our October. It must be annoying having such a long winter. I'd hate it!

Is it? Thought they would be the same (Sep to Oct there). The temps starts to drop in the last week of August, and then it's just a steep fall. Avg high today is 20C, on 1 Sept 18C, and on 1 Oct 12C, so it goes very fast. I find it annoying. The last 10 years it has been improving, with the September high being 16C, but the drop in especially October is as rapid as it's been before. Single figure highs are common from around 10 Oct forward.

Yup, looks like this is the time of year when we are warmer than you again, until June.

Yes, it will be that time, doesn't it? It's a shame the weather is so unsettled, because the time between 16 August and ~5 September is the last chance for some heat. If it's not coming then, it isn't at all possible anymore this year. If we want to have an 'indian summer', it has to come in September, otherwise it's impossible as well. 30 September 2011 was an anomaly, with temps reaching 22C in Helsinki, but doesn't happen very often. One day later and it would have broke the all time record. 19.4C is the nationwide all time high in October. October 2005 was another nice month, with sun and temps of 18.2C on 5 Oct, and an ice day on 27 October.

But May can well be warmer here than there, like this year. Damn when I lost all my saved climate data, but if I remember correctly, only 1 May since 2000 has been below average. Which is great.

Ok. The September high here is 14.9C/7.2C so only a marginal difference, but the warm westerly winds are to a huge benefit for you. But I'm hoping for a warm September and a very variable October, it would produce great foliage.
