Weather has ceased to happen. Could well be a forecast for one of Adrianna's "office climates". It would be nice if that annoying N/NE wind abated in the evening. Nights are too cool to be windy.

Looks like severe weather threat is fading here. Stronger than expected lower level cap is stopping super cells from forming. Not even any rain yet. Has been cloudy and very windy all day with just peaks of sun. At 7PM it's 85F/29C at MDW.

Could be better, could be worse

Our local weather blog is suggesting that the temps predicted above by NWS are too conservitive for the middle of the week

Midweek hot spell to bring city more 90s
Posted on Jun 15 2014 - 7:37 pm by stevekahnwgntv
By Meteorologist Steve Kahn

Father’s Day opened comfortably cool with temperatures with temperatures in the 50s and lower 60s and dew points in the 40s, but the day ended warm and sticky as the mercury climbed well into the 80s as dew points reached Gulf coast levels in the middle and upper 60s. For the most part, holiday barbeques escaped unscathed as only isolated thunderstorms developed during the late afternoon.

Sunday’s sticky warmth was just start of what is expected to be a week-long siege of muggy, summer weather. Temperatures are expected to surge into the lower and middle 90s Tuesday and Wednesday and reside at least in the 80s through next weekend. With an abundant supply of Gulf moisture fueling a daily threat of thunderstorms, some hefty precipitation totals are possible in areas hit by repeat thunderstorm activity.

Looks like an ideal forecast. For a bit, at least. Troll weather forecast...
