Do those large lakes north of Winnipeg cool your summers a bit?
Not really here but the towns on the lake are a tad cooler. But we have MANY lakes east of the city which cool off the city called Kenora directly 2 hours east of here. We can be sunny everyday of the week and they could have rain everyday.
A 45F dew point must be rare this time of year in Philly?
Yeah, pretty rare. 52f is around the 10% percentile. I like it. I'm not sweating much when walking around the city. The humidity returns next week though. This time of year the mean dewpoint daily max is 70F(almost always in morning and evening).
Yes, when a high pressure system is stuck here, there's not much cloud coming in from anywhere. And those who are forming are burnt away above the Baltic.
But WO sometimes overestimates the sun in summer here. It's not certain at all that we'll get 16.8 hours of sun.
Can't be bothered uploading the forecast but highs of 21-24C throughout the next week. I'll love it if we get through the whole of an above-average July but still don't get the 25C we'd usually have had by the end of June.
Ours is very similar, although Monday will still be warm here.. looks like both London and Paris got shifted 10degrees south for this July
