The cold weather ended abruptly about 3 weeks ago, without a single frost since. Days since then have mostly been between 15-20C, so it hasn't been too bad, particularly as it's been quite humid and sunny. The hills have been getting the heaviest snow of the winter though, with day after day of snowfall, for about the last week.
