We hit 31 degrees in June 2011, so it's entirely possible. These one-day wonders often produce the highest temperatures.

Weatheronline says 29 for here and 31 for Leeds.

BBC says 24 here and 28 there.

I wonder who'll be right. My bet on BBC.

I find they underestimate temperatures a lot, almost always actually. We'll see who is right though.
