Even Northern Arizona averages colder daytime highs than 54F during the winter season like Flagstaff for example which averages 44F in December, 43F in January, and 46F in February.
Flagstaff, Arizona - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

You know your city has mild winters when even freaking Northern Arizona has colder winters than your city. That is why I say 54F is not that cold and why I think you overexaggerate about how extremely cold Melbourne is in the winter.

Melbourne whilst cold by Australian (QLD, NT and northern WA) standards is nowhere as cold as the US/Northern Europe winters. Sydney is not much warmer than Melbourne in the winter season.

Cruxan, you're funny. Actually, CC and I compared our climate at one time. His climate is warmer then mine, especially during the winter. I actually like SAB's climate. This was just winter for him and his temps were very decent compared to my winter temps. He just likes clearer skies because he's interested in astronomy and hates the cloudiness.

I definitely know where I'd like to live, but you haven't said anything about where we can put up our tents.
