There was that big blizzard in the Dakotas, snow in some regions of the country, and other cold weather events. Even down here in the Keys it's been below average temperatures. We're getting a cold front tonight, and it's supposed to get cooler, down in the low 60s as the lows and low 70s as highs, and it's supposed to stay that way. I remember last year at this time, it was still almost 90 degrees. I enjoy the cooler weather., but it's rare for it to cool down and for it to stay that way. Well, those temps. are cool to us, but to a lot of other people, it's probably warm. HAHA.
Been a bit warmer than usual for us the last few weeks, but back to normal for this time of year this week. Here is our forecast for the next few days from the NWS.
We fluctuate a lot and always have. For several days we were at least 10 degrees above average. AFter that we were about 15 degrees below average. There is a huge cold front heading for the east/southeast right now. Some people like it (like DX and ILNC) and some of us would prefer the warmth.
but my fingers hurt bad when it drops below 45 F
and my face starts to sting around 35 F.
(give me a different body, please, and that would be no problem )
It was 93 degrees here today, breaking a record that stood for over 100 years. Global warming, anyone? I have all of my doors and windows closed as tight as possible due to the smoke from the fires all over So-Cal tonight.
I had to brush some global warming off the vehicle this morning. About 2 inches of it.
