Arizona usually starts seeing snow in early to mid November. Phoenix and Tucson do not see snow most years, but the higher mountain ranges (above 6000'), scattered throughout the state, will see snow most years.

I live in Paris, and although the climate is generally mild in winter(in the 40's), each winter there are one , two, exceptionally three cold fronts coming , and then temperatures plummet in the 20's and there are indeed some snow flurries and icy conditions, but it doesn't last more then 1-2 weeks .
It can start anytime between late november and early january.

Hard to really say for Seattle. Our earliest snow was in October, occasionally it snows in November, but usually snows in December or January if it does.

In DFW? Hmm... We get maybe an inch or two a year, about every 3 years or so. Mostly ice (if anything).

I voted December because it was the latest month on the poll. More than likely we won't get any snow until January or February.

On February 14th of 2003 we had about a foot of snow that melted a few days later. It was fantastic! I have pictures of my wife, daughter and me next to the snowman we built.

I picked November, but it can be from Mid-October to as late as early December. Safe bet is by the first or second week of November it will start to stay on the ground.

I picked October, but i don't remember getting Oct. snow this year, all depends i guess. We got our first measurable snow (lake effect) a couple days ago and it's almost all gone. Here in Warren we are just south of the secondary snow belt. Lake effect snow is pretty crazy. I think i had around three to four inches and my parents had six or so and the live about five minutes north of me. You never know what your going to run into driving around northeast Ohio in the winter. The other day i left the house and it was sunny. I drove five minutes down the road and it was grey and blizzardy!
