Lol I can see I misread the thread title!
The coldest high I've seen in Melbourne would've been around 9ºC in August this year. Coldest hi temp in the metro area that day was 8.1ºC at Melbourne AIrport.
The record is 4.4ºC in July 1904.

26 F in Fort Myers set way back in 1962 for the absolute record low.
No idea about the coldest high temp in history, but I rememeber it not getting above 40 F one time.

Hmmm don't have any records but its below 37, I'll have to have a dig around.
An extreme cold period for the first 15 days of July resulted in all time low temperature records.
The average monthly temperature of 2.6C (37F) was the coldest ever recorded for any month in
Invercargill, and broke the previous record of 3.0 deg set in July 1995.
