Lone Grove Ok got hit by a long track tornado with a wide damage path, at least from what I read. Looks like it's not a sheriffnado.

OK, not sure what the morning people on TWC were talking about because I just caught a bit of it and it's unusually severe down there tonight. It sounds like parts of OK got hit pretty hard and eastern Tx. isn't faring well either. They said there have already been fatalities, but they didn't say where.

Maybe it's just more severe then they even expected? I just hope everyone is safe down there. They've been talking about a path from way down by Corpus Christi way up to Sherman that they're watching right now. Guess that includes ILNC.

Forth Worth was mentioned quite a bit and that area would include Synopsis and Kay and Case. I know there's more people from here who live around those areas, but not sure exactly where. I just hope everyone is safe.

Yes fairly significant by february standards. A moderate risk during february for severe weather is somewhat rare. Do have a La nina going on though. Also I think the northwest side of Edmond Ok got hit by a weak tornado.

Oh my!!! I'm sorry to hear that. TWC has been saying they felt it was possibly nine or more. SO early in the year to be having such powerful tornadoes.

Yeah it is kind of a chasers dream but then again a nightmare in the fact you hope and wish nobody gets hurt.

Looks like it will be a long year.

I see that the death toll in Lone Grove is at 15. I feel so sorry for the families of those people.

BTW, this is way early for tornadoes, even in Oklahoma.

We were under severe weather warnings here last night but thankfully nothing happened.

Looks like the storms weakened a bit overnight and are firing up once again. Thankfully, it seems the strongest part of the line moving my way will be just North of us. I feel for all who have lost loved ones and pray no more injuries or deaths.

The winds here howled all night long and are steady with some really heavy gusts.
