I also never wear sweaters but do wear sweatshirts and typically do so below 55F. Could be 0F or 55F. An extra layer underneath if closer to 0F of course.
Depends on the season but typically 50s and 40s. 30s is beginning of jacket weather. This is a "fall thing." Winter is beyond sweater weather and summer is too warm. In spring, 50s is t shirt weather after being in the deep freezer for several months. Maybe not so on a rainy day, though. 60s is definitely too warm for sweaters. I mean you can wear one in the low 60s if it's cloudy or night and be fine but I consider sweater weather as weather that pretty much requires a sweater but nothing much more.
Here most people wear long sleves or light jackets at (15°C) 60°F .
(5°C) 40° F for gloves and winter hat since hands can get too cold.
(0°C) 30° F for lower protection like double pants and socks.
