Currently 58 degrees at 9:26pm... with a low in the mid 50's due to night.
Just got home from the Square Foot Gardening class...really excited to try this form of gardening out...took the first class last month, and after this 2nd class, ready to give it a try. Looks like a lot less work with a LOT more yield. Tom tonight had pictures of a guy in Montana that gardens year around by hanging two 100 watt lightbulbs in side and covering with plastic...getting yeilds at 10 degrees below zero!!! Bring it on, I am ready for fresh veggies to gather right outside my back door! (OK...I bet my birds, squirrels and other critters are too, but I am still going to give it a shot!)
Paka, sounds like a great class you're taking! Keep us posted! My hubby just got finished putting a cover over the top of his garden to keep the critters out! Me, I did 2 of those topsy turvy thingies!!!
