ActsMom, I didn't realize that. So basically the coolest you can get your house right now is 87?

It's nice and warm here. 93 degrees/heat index is 94. BUT throughout this whole day, our humidity and dewpoint have been low. It would've been a bit too warm if we'd have had these temps yesterday, but it's perfect now.

I think they were talking about the real temperature, 100...so 80 would be about it. However, mine did shut off at 78 for a little while.

And we're under a severe thunderstorm watch now until 1 a.m. I wouldn't mind some cooling rain...hope it isn't anything really severe.

The humidity really DOES make a difference!
