When I first moved to Melbourne I remember loving it as it was like free air con! I eventually realised that most of the recreational activities I enjoyed were far better outside in the warm temps of QLD.

This is when I started to miss my old home.

Going by the posts on the Australian Weather Forum and Weatherzone, most Failburnians treat any temps remotely resembling summer as if it's freaking Chernobyl. They especially over-exaggerate the bushfire risk, anything over 30C will be an automatic repeat of Black Saturday
