When I was younger and hadn't lived anywhere besides QLD I thought that hot temperatures were a pain in the arse. A lot of my mates felt the same way too.
When I first moved to Melbourne I remember loving it as it was like free air con! I eventually realised that most of the recreational activities I enjoyed were far better outside in the warm temps of QLD.
This is when I started to miss my old home.

They especially over-exaggerate the bushfire risk, anything over 30C will be an automatic repeat of Black Saturday
