What do you find worse: the cold in the winter or cool summer days? I think both are bad, but I find the cold in the winter much worse. At least I can go outside without freezing on cool summer days.
The weather on your 14 day forecast sounds a lot like the weather we've been having here until today. It warmed up today and the extended forecast here shows a warming trend (which isn't saying much since we've had a lot of days in the 60s this June). Perhaps we're getting your weather and you're getting ours.
14 day forecasts aren't always reliable, either. The extended forecast, especially this June, has been inaccurate for me. A few days ago, they were saying it was supposed to be in the 80s today, but it was 74. There have been many days that were predicted to be sunny a few days in advance, but then at the last minute the forecast changed to rainy.
Mentally, consistantly-cool summer weather...
And by that I mostly mean 60's F and lower; our recent cooling to the 70's was mostly a shock initially,
as we'd been 80+ F from 10 am to 6 pm daily.
Physically, there's no question about it.
Bad summer weather is better than good winter weather... even good spring or fall weather sometimes.
You're further east, and there's a massively low off the eastern seaboard right now.
That could be what's causing your coolness.
I know, I know... 14 day forecasts are rarely reliable.
But it was quite a shock to see all the forecast highs under the straight line, indicating seasonal temps.
Here in the New York City area, things are looking more like Borneo than the northeastern United States. It's been rainy season for a month now (I must be getting old, because it wasn't long ago--like last year, for example--when this time of year meant "summer." Lately, it means "umbrella.")
I suppose you could say I'm not especially enjoying the weather. But I can't go as far as to say it makes me "angry," mainly because I find that I have very, very little control over it.

and the funny thing is i will be rubbing this in all winter long
this coming winter is going to set all kinds of new records freezing freezing freezing freezer!!!! but crux will be here to warm all u up with a little carribean sunshine
We have had some "nice" plain weather recently with some sun and mild temperatures but I am "angry" that we have an easterly wind which is keeping eastern counties like Lincolnshire much cooler than everywhere else. This east wind has dominated throughout most of the year so far.
As you see my signature says "I love hot weather and thunderstorms". Well pretty much everywhere in western, central and southern England is in for severe thunderstorms with hail and 28c+ temperatures while the strong easterly wind here keeps it at 21c with no chance of storms. GRRRRR!

I don't understand the obsession with palm trees. They really don't provide much shade.
Winter? Cold up to -15F without wind doesn't bother me at all. I'd rather see balsam fir trees instead of palm trees anyday. I guess that makes me strange, eh!
I love palm trees. My absolute favourite type of vegetation.
