The record high for my area in central Texas was in 1980 at 106 degrees. Oh my gosh, the summer from Hades. Right now, it's 100.2 where I am. It's risen a tad since posting my 6 p.m. temperature.

I remember my parents talking about that Summer numerous times. It was bad here in Oklahoma too. Of course, this was 10 years before my time
Record high today is 93 (1966)
Record low is 42 (1968)
Average temps are 79 and 56
Today is is forecast to be around 70 for a high and last nights low was 55.
