Pick up a piece of dry ice - THAT'S how it feels. It's so cold it doesn't even feel cold any more - instead it BURNS (because it's causing more or less instant frostbite).

I felt that burning feeling on a couple of my finger tips from playing in the snow but instant freezing on exposed body parts is extreme.
