Ours have been average. We haven't had any real heat waves yet and the rain has been pretty constant in cooling us down. August is usually our hotest month.

It actually doesn't make much difference to me
that it's in the mid 70's instead of low 80's F, since we've been getting enough sunshine.
(though I would much prefer low 90's F)

It's been at least 60 F whenever I've been outside in July, so that's keeping me happy.
It helps that sunrise is before 6am... plenty of time to warm up before I wake up.
I recently found out being tanned works well to keep my skin warmer.
I'm not sure if it's actually helping my "nerve disorder," but I'll take it anyways.

Than you would absolutely hate spending an entire summer in San Francisco because it rarely reaches the 90's F here.

And the few times it does reach the 90's F, alot of people here act like it is the end of the world because alot of them are not used to it getting that hot here. And on most years we do not see a single day hit the triple digits. I know the last couple of summers in San Francisco saw ZERO days reach into the triple digits.

Default No 100's til June here!

This has been a freaky summer. First 100+ day not until mid-June. Lived here 13 years. I remember 100 degree days as early as April. What's happening? And above average cloud cover in June and late May.

I'm not sure what you mean by that.
Toronto averages 80 F in July, and it's only hit 100 F twice in my lifetime.
Usually our hottest annual high is somewhere in the high 80's F to mid 90's F.
San Fran is what, 73 F in its warmest month?
So you aren't surprising me that they had "a couple summers with zero days at 100 F."

*Are San Fran's summers supposed to have more radical swings in temperatures?

San Francisco hasn't seen triple digit heat since 2001. What about Toronto ?

June = slightly above average (+0.8c anomaly)

July = above average as of 15th (+1c anomaly) however, set to drop below average by the end with very cold unsettled weather arriving.
