Did you ever experience real cold temperatures?

I put 7 clothes on my top body when I walked out at -30°C. That is ****ing cold. That is a fire burning-like cold. It is so cold that I feel like my hands are burning in fire with gloves on. Thats the feeling with gloves on
Could you elaborate on where you experienced -30°C?

This is for the southeastern U.S., given that I live in Tennessee. So assume it's a humid cold and humid heat.

Frigid (k): < 0.0F
Bitterly Cold (j): 0.0F to 20.0F
Very Cold (i): 20.1F to 32.0F
Cold (h): 32.1F to 36.0F
Chilly (g): 36.1F to 52.0F
Cool (d): 52.1F to 57.9F
Mild/Lukewarm (a): 58.0F to 67.9F
Very Warm (b): 68.0F to 79.9F
Somewhat Hot (c): 80.0F to 89.9F
Moderately Hot (e): 90.0F to 99.9F
Extremely Hot (f): > 100.0F

Side Note 1: I've put lowercase letters to denote my preferences, with a being most preferred, b second-most, c third-most and so on. This goes to k.

Side Note 2: I'd almost certainly raise the upper limits of heat (and Very Warm) classes significantly, as well as slightly lower the Cool and Mild/Lukewarm classes' lower limits, raise the upper limits of Frigid to 20F and Cold to 43F and eliminate the Bitterly Cold (and possibly Chilly, depending on how much better dry cold is) class(es) entirely.

Side Note 3: It's very rare to get into the Frigid class here and uncommon to get into the Extremely Hot class. However, all of the rest except Bitterly Cold are covered by at least one month's average high or low.
