Anyone catch their new morning show? I saw it this morning and I will have to say that it was truly horrible. What were they thinking?

No, I haven't gotten to see it yet. What didn't you like about it? Actually, the commercials for it are getting sickening.

It was just horrible, they were playing around and acting silly, very unprofessional. I never liked Al's weather forecasts on the morning show he was on. And he certainly doesn't fit in on the weather channel.

I think I know why they put it so early, because the show is so bad they dont want people to see it and the commercials are getting sickening.

I didn't watch for too long and it was very bad! I've seen better weather reports on small market TV stations.

I don't know what NBC is trying to accomplish with all the changes, moving people around to different time slots, etc., but in my opinion, way worse instead of better!

OK, so I finally caught a bit of it and that was enough for me. It was almost more like a cartoon then a serious weather show and Susan, I agree. I always loved the weather channel, but it's getting to the point where I'm about ready to shut it off and turn the radio on. Even our little local radio station is more professional and interesting then this is.

FWIW .. I'm getting pretty sick of The Weather Channel in general. I remember when they did one thing... Weather...Now they cover sports, regular news events and have entertainment shows.. Get back to basics and do what you're good at.. Reporting the Weather

I hear ya, Trudy. I like some of the shows like "Full Force Nature" or "Storm Stories" or "Abrams and Bettes", but they are just going overboard. If we're any sampling of how the population really feels, they will have to change their ways or they'll lose a huge audience.

I think NBC is trying to grab market share and it definitely isn't working. Following stories that are weather related and news worthy is one thing but business news and headlines just don't figure.

I'm not sure where NBC ranks in the big picture, I know the major networks have a hard time when competing with CNN, etc.! Weather should be just that, weather!
