We got some light rain very early this morning, about 3:30am. Very light, unfortunately. Not enough to make a difference. Earlier, they had predicted more for today but no longer. Sunny, wisps of clouds, warm. No rain on the horizon.

We've just come out of days of heavy, torrential yesterday, rains/showers with falls exceeding 150 - 200 mm in the northern suburbs & 80 - 90 mm for my area (in the 24 hours to 9am today) with flooding in many places. Catchment dams in the west got a great drink too Monthly totals have considerably exceeded the average just 7 days into this month
