Hi! I am in CT and we are probably 1-2 weeks from peak, although the trees are rapidly changing. We are in a yellow hue, with some red and orange mixed in! I would say though that 50% of leaves are still green.

This weekend I hope to get out with my camera!!

I would love to see pics of trees in other places at their peaks....anyone else care to post pictures they personally took???

Trees on my street are still green with a few patches of gold and red, however, with all the wind we're having lately, they may fall off before they get a chance to change!

It is REALLY windy here right now and a wind advisory is in effect until midnight. Good thing most of the leaves are still green and will not be going anywhere.

Yes they are going somewhere lol, I almost got hit with a log, there's so many branches (with green leaves) falling I'm not going back outside.

Much of the good fall color has been just north of my area. We had a bit too much rain this summer so we have some black spots on many of the leaves in my local area.

The first two weeks of Sept are the best time to see colors on the drive from Anchorage to Fairbanks, Alaska.

I saw ONE tree here in Texas that had some good color on it! LOL! We've still got awhile to go here.... I was actually surprised to see that one yet, but seems like our temps have been a little cooler a little earlier this year.

Are you sure that wasn't a dead tree you just thought had color????

We have quite a bit of color 200 miles north of you. It's on the way.

For the last few years peak color has been getting later and later here, though last year was a little sooner than 2007. We've been hitting our peak around the first or second week of November, but in 2007 there were still some colored leaves on a few trees into December. So far this year they're still mostly green, though I'm starting to see a little color here and there. And overall the trees are getting a more yellow tint, so we may have an early peak this year. It's also been cooler than usual for this time of year, which is quite a relief to me!
