to portions of the mid south tonight…

.a ridge of high pressure across the mid south will bring clear
skies…calm winds…and temperatures dropping into the 30s across
portions of the mid south. The coldest temperatures tonight will
be along the tennessee river where temperatures will fall below
freezing.

frost advisory is no longer in effect.

The combination of clear skies…calm winds and temperatures
dropping at or slightly below freezing will result in a freeze
across the warning area tonight. This freeze will end the 2009
growing season.
