Summer was putting up a fight, but very good timing on Autumn arriving here around 5pm. A cold front finally made it!

Happy Autumn, everyone!!!

Autumn, that is so neat that you started this thread. I love the first part of autumn, but not the last and it bums me out because I know what's to follow.

We had a cool and rainy day to usher in the new season.

Happy Fall to everyone on this first full day of fall. Will seem like summer (high 85) in East TN. We're promised fall temps next week.

Fall is my favorite season even though it doesn't feel like fall in Houston and never looks like fall, but at least it sounds cooler

The First Full day of Fall/Autumn was Mixed with both sunshine and thunderstorms.
Better phrased Variable Cloudy Day.
The Hi was 81 ° : Normal is 82 ° Almost Perfectly Normal.
Close enought ah.
Had a little bit of rain early in the morning and some downpours after 3 p.m.
As of 7 p.m. 0.92 " of rain fell in my backyard here in Bemis - Jackson, Tn. on Camellia Dr.
Overall the day was not bad.
Just south of me in Pinson, Tn. They got hammered with even heavier rain.
Chester, Henderson & Madison County Tennessee was placed under a urban and small stream flood advisory for a while this afternoon.
It does look like the rain will finially leave West Tenn by Saturday Hopefully.
