^^ Lol, not getting upset...just telling you my point of view of how seasons go. I know not all seasons start on the 21st, I consider Summer to be the warmest 25% of the year while winter is the coldest 25% of the year while spring and fall are anything in between....this varies from city to city. I'm not getting upset just telling you my perspective on how the seasons are , good to be talking to a weather friend from TN also , I used to live in GA close to Atlanta so they have pretty similar weather to Jackson, TN .

In Melbourne, Summer is the warmest 10% of the year while winter is the coldest 50%

Here in Buxton Winter is the 75% from September - May then the rest is autumn. There is no "spring" or "summer".

Anyway: summer: top temperature was 82f in July in Lincoln when I was there.

No Spring or Summer where you live ah. lol. All 4 Seasons uaually do not behave here either. By not behaving I mean is not normal.
Not too many seasons are exactly normal here.

Quite an average summer in my area, temperature, rainfall and sunshine wise. August was slightly warmer than average, and we'd usually expect one or two 30-32c/86-90f days which we didnt get, and a couple of nightly lows in the 17-18c/63-65f range.

I have been in two locations this gone summer, so the first two months are from being in Lincoln, then August is from Buxton. In other words, what I have personally experienced.

Max Temperature: 27.8c/82f - 30th June
Min Temperature: 4.7c/39f - 4th June
Average Max temperature: 19.8c/68f
Average Min temperature: 11.3c/52f
Mean Temperature: 15.5c
Total rainfall: 212.9mm/8.37"
Wettest: July - 93.6mm/3.68"
Driest: June - 37.2mm/1.46"
Mean Barometric Pressure: 1014.4hPa (adjusted to SL)
Thunder Storm days: 9 (June 2, July 7)
Fog days: 1 (June)

Days above 20c/68f: 45/92 (June 15, July 17, August 13)
Days above 25c/77f: 6 (June 3, July 3)
Days above 30c/86f: 0

Nights above 10c/50f: 67/92 (June 17, July 29, August 21)
