No foul weather in NYC/Long Island, the sun was out with temps in the 50's. Its not my type of weather but I'd take it any day over what's normal for this time of year.

Was it windy in the city last night? It woke me up around 5:00 this morning.

Tomorrow is supposed to be beautiful. Sunny and 55 here. But the rain may return Monday.

Then maybe you could feel lucky or good that your summer season is so long?

In late-May Toronto's average is only 21 C, while July is 27 C.
We can easily have rogue highs on cloudy days as low as 15 C, until early-June.

You could say driving 140 miles in rain/wet snow would be on the foul side. Positive part temps were 33/34 so it wasn't sticking on the road, but bridges were on the slick side.

Got to Green Bay, 40 miles form home. roads were dry and sun was trying to come out, waht a hoot!

Good thing I wasnt drinking or eating when I read this otherwise I would've sprayed it all over the room with my LOLing.

Melbourne barely has a summer, let along a long one , with average temps above 25C for only 2-3 months a year, plus regular cold fronts bringing highs of 20C with cloud even in mid-January.

Melbourne's November average is only 22C which is pathetic. No problems getting rogue highs here of 15C in Nov or Dec for that matter. last December saw more days below 20C than above 25C
