Snowing, very pretty as we haven't had much snow this winter. Getting more than predicted but not a major event. Radar doesn't show much but the lake would be the reason.
We got about an inch-inch and a half of what could be best described as slop early today. It melted underfoot, and was mostly gone by late afternoon. What little is left should be gone on Sunday when it hits 45. The northern suburbs of Chicago got hit a lot worse, so they may have snow lingering for a few days.
There was a very heavy squally snow shower earlier today. I looked out of the window and visibility was nothing, all was white with blizzard like conditions and strong gusty winds. Also had some moderate hail today mid-PM.
