A boulder weighing a few tons flew/rolled into a watershed area and blocked the entry area so water had to go elsewhere...it broke all barriers that were installed last fall. Cars were crushed, trees were uprooted, and an old lady on oxygen was found in her home floating around in several feet of water and mud--her hospital bed was floating, she was in shock and almost drowned. She was rescued and hospitalized.
I wanted to correct my mistake. It wasn't a 'watershed'. It's called a catch basin. The boulder weighed 10 tons. It was broken up and removed...and dump trucks are loading up the mud and moving it out of the basin 24 hours a day.

Yep, it rained yesterday......and Southern California also got over a foot of snow in the local mountains, a funnel cloud over Los Angeles, hail, mud slides, flooding, you name it.....

None predicted for the next few days though, which will give us time to dry out....
