What a lovely morning! Woke up at 6am after a couple of hours sleep 'coz I was thirsty as hell, just as I was about to get back into bed I noticed a Cumulonimbus out my window and an almighty flash. Went out to see scattered cells everywhere and it was nice and warm My house has a nice view to the south and saw many imbedded CCs and powerful CGs including one massive bolt which blew up a transformer. Looked like a huge cell that one. Shame about that damn cold southwesterly moving in which will ofcourse ruin everything Funny how all the action occurs when you don't think about it or expect it.

Beats the usual maritime cold anyday, but I guess all the subarctic maritime winter foamers on all the aussie weather forums would disagree with that
