The happy political thread has stalled. Happiness isn't popular out there.
Or, there are so many posts in other threads that it got pushed off the first page, but since there are more posters in the forum, you'd expect more frequent posts in the happy thread.
Just had a half-drunken bus trip across the city and the sensor you pass your travelcard over wasn't working, so I didn't have to pay for the trip. We had a crazy West Indian bus driver whose attitude was "Hey boy! De ting not working but me get paid anyway so me don' care! Just get on de bus!" I was too busy being amused at the bus driver openly talking on his phone while driving and too wasted to notice that I left my backpack on the bus You're a ****ing idiot, Ben.
Forecast today is for heavy rain and no wind, temps-16C- 25C. This is perfect summer rain. Also happy the UV index has dropped to 8, no more sun block.
Sun trying to peep out, hope it does, yesterday was dreary, suited my mood battling sinus touble, waiting for Spring, listening to them harp about the next "big" storm!
Happy to have seen some family in NYC for the first time in thirteen years today.
