ah, ok. i remembered him as a big flop really. he did some really good games in the U21 euro championschip, though, and then we signed him just after the tournament, if i remember correctly. didnt know about the finnish ifks. i guess those clubs were founded by swedish-finns?
I've seen him a couple of times this year, and he's really a good player, but the countless injuries have stalled him quite alot. And yes, the IFK:s were founded by Swedish speaking Finns. And still have a strong Swedish-speaking identity.
But well, a impressive 3-0 win against the second worst opponents. We're on a way to our 5th consecutive Finnish Championship! And Estonian Nõmme Kalju against HJK in the Champions League quals. Perhaps 1-2 in the first leg and 7-0 in the latter. Hope we don't get Celtic again in the crucial leg...
Football. Bleeeh well if we had more people going and playing it (if they love it so much) rather than mindlessly supporting some team or other and watching it on their widescreen tele-visual then we wouldn't have so many obese people.
To be fair, millions of people do play it, especially children and teenagers. I rarely play anymore and if I do it's only 5 a side.
I used to play a lot of rugby too, but I've completely stopped that in the last year or so. Ah well.
