Meh, what's wrong with theme parks? I wouldn't do thousands of miles to go to one, but to each their own. If you're a diehard theme park lover, specific stuff like Kingda Ka cannot be found everywhere.

There's Thorpe Park too. Alton Towers, etc. He wouldn't go to Barcelona or Paris for the theme parks there, too foreign even though France and Spain have more in common with the UK than the US
