you kinda asked for sarcasm by mentioning a very expensive car as if it were not a big deal. Comes off as snobby:

Some older cars are amazingly reliable, more so than a lot of modern cars anyway. There's just too many things that can go wrong with modern cars, and when they do go wrong it's usually incredibly expensive to repair.
My Wife never seems to have any problems with her car, it's always me!

If I didn't need my car for work, I'd hardly ever use it. I much prefer cycling, especially when the weather is nice.
