Rising prices probably wouldn't help. I know people on benefits who smoke 10 a day. It's a seriously hard habit to quit.
I will, I will.

Rising prices could really help... What is a pack in the UK, 10€? Here it's 5.10€ and I roll my own, so I get away with around 3€ a pack. My friend used to bring me cigs from Russia some times, and paid 2.5€ a pack.

In Australia a pack is 12€ I think, and that would be too much for me.

Average seems to be around €10, yeah, though it depends on the brand.

A pack of 40's is now close to $29, as they are slapping massive taxes on it every year until 2016, another communist social engineering policy from the former communist prime minister, Julia Dillard.

A couple of years ago, a pack of 40's was $17 before this latest attack on our freedom to do what we want with our lives.

Doesn't affect me as I don't smoke, but the real victims here are the families of smokers.

Happy because the sun is finally out today and everyone is in a good mood. Been overcast/ raining past 3 days and everyone was grumpy and in a bad mood.

I wouldn't be able to handle under 2300 sunshine hours a year like we get here.

I'm happy because the weather has been amazing lately; mostly cloudy with little sunshine and showers a few times a day.

Also, I just had a glass of stinging nettle cordial and it was amazing, although nowhere close to elderflower cordial, basically the only thing I ever drink besides water.

Elder is very close to blooming. Can't wait

I'm taking a break from what I'm supposed to be doing and enjoying some tawny port and an orange-fig shortbread cookie.

don't get why people are smoking, when there's snus. the only well established health risk from snusing is a 2x risk for pancreatic cancer (1/4500) instead of (1/9000). smoking increases the risk for oral cancer, lung cancer (both which are much more prelevant than pancreatic cancer) emphysema, heart disease etc etc. aboslutly ridiciolous that EU outlawed snus while keeping cigarettes. just take a look at the evidence: it's all out there.

so my advise to all smokers is: go over to snus instead. you can order it from Northerner. Buy Swedish Snus & American Snuff Online. The #1 Smokeless Tobacco Store on Internet !. and yes - i'm a snuser since 10 year back.

Do you live near the train tracks? I could never - the noise would drive me insane.
