Well, it's all downhill from here.

In terms of sun angle at least. The sun has reached its peak and it's now headed in the opposite direction. Only 180 days to go to the winter solstice.

Only 100 more days to the start of my "happy season" (Oct 1.)

Luckily I live in a climate with a strong season lag! Still a month to go here until we enter 'peak summer' which is the period from the end of July to the start of August where it is warmest.

That would be true of most Cfb climates I guess, or even a bit later. The peak for here is about 5-7 weeks after the longest day.

Yep. Days are getting shorter now. Headed in the right direction.

Owl howling right outside my window. Love it--I could listen to that sound all day.

Yeah, although it has its advantages, it does suck that September can be such a nice month, yet daylight hours are already much shorter.. I love May-June-July when we get post 9pm sunsets
