I am using Penticton, BC, in my case because it is the most reliable weather station for my area.

Driest month = February at 19.8 mm (note: October used to be the wettest month of the year from 1971-2000, but has now slipped to 4th spot with the new 30 year period).
Wettest month = June at 46.3 mm (1.81 inches)

Least rainy month = December at 11.4 mm (because most of the precipitation comes as snow).
Snowiest month = December at 21.1 cm (8.4 inches) Note: this accounts for 36% of the annual snowfall

Hottest month (max, min, and mean) = July at 28.7°C (83.7°F), 13.3°C (55.9°F), and 21.0°C (69.8°F)
Coldest month (max, min, and mean) = December at 1.4°C, -3.5°C, and -1.1°C (30.1°F).

Month with the most days where the maximum temperature is less than or equal to zero C = December at 10.3 days
Month with the most days where the minimum temperature is less than or equal to zero C = December at 22.7 days

Month with the most days with bright sunshine = August at 30.5 days
Month with the least days with bright sunshine = December at 14.8 days

Windiest month = December at 14.9 km/h (9.3 mph)
Least windy month = August at 8.5 km/h (5.3 mph)

Month with the highest all time maximum wind gust = April 121 km/h
Month with the lowest all time maximum wind gust = June at 81 km/h

Month with the highest median daily snow depth = January at 1.3 cm (0.50 inches)
Month with the highest end-of-month snow depth = December at 4.9 cm
Month with the most days with a snow depth of 10 or more cm (3.9 inches) = January at 3.1 days

Month with the most precipitation days of at least 25mm (1 inch) = June at 0.17 days

Edited to add: December has the most number of days with measurable precipitation at 13. 4
August has the least at 6.9 days

In summary, December sucks. Coldest month, darkest month, cloudiest month, wettest month, snowiest month, and windiest month.

The driest month is July, followed by August.
The rainiest month is November, followed by May.
The sunniest is July, while the cloudiest is May.

The central part of Iberian peninsula is characterized by a strong and long dry season in summer, a weak and short dry season in January and February, and two rainy seasons in spring and autumn.

This is interesting! How can February be drier, warmer, and snowier than January all at the same time?

February sure seems to be a popular month for the "driest" category.
