Shucks, that doesn't sound half-bad - especially for mid-autumn. You're getting rain, mild temps, no need for heat or AC, that's my kind of ideal weather.
I'm an amatuer astronomer. Rain and cloud = stress attack.
Also, in the past 160 days, the city I live in has only recorded 6.6mm of rain (1/4 inch). It's been 74 days in a row without any rain. It may seem very dry to some but we only average 59.1mm during that period. Our yearly average is 450mm and winter sees most of the rainfall.
We got about 2mm of rain about 3 hours after I posted that ironically
Geraldton has a very agreeable climate. Shame that none of the early explorers had sufficient brain matter to colonise the Pilbara coast and the area from Perth to Exmouth.
Last time a similar thing happened to me, I had to go out and buy a new mouse LOL
